Star Clippers new flagship, Royal Clipper, entered service in July of 2000. It is the ultimate sailing mega yacht, accommodating 228 passengers despite its great size. It has three swimming pools, a three-deck atrium, a marina that lowers from the stern and a unique underwater viewing lounge. Royal Clipper’s 42 sails, totaling an unprecedented 56,000 square feet, drive the steel-hulled new ship on comfortable sailing voyages on the great oceans and in the cruising areas of the world.
Star Clipper and Star Flyer (in their first decade of service) are the tallest of the tall ships, with main masts soaring 226 feet into the sky, carrying only 170 passengers with a crew of 72. Star Clipper and Star Flyer join an authentic sailing adventure under 26,000 square feet of sail with every modern comfort of a luxury mega yacht.
